Our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home enjoyed lots of fun last week.
With such inclement weather, we focused on some indoor pursuits including a lovely art session when our ladies enjoyed painting flower pictures, which got us all in the mood for Spring!
We also held a History Club relating to Kent and Maidstone; our ladies and gentlemen looked very interested listening to stories and looking at old photos and videos on YouTube – a great way to spark conversation and reminiscence.
On Friday we held our very own ‘pub afternoon‘ with a bit of music and dance, as well as snacks and drinks, which went down well with everyone.
Our weekend was also busy; our ladies kindly came together to prepare vegetables for lunch, which is always a lovely social gathering! We also visited our local Church for the Sunday service.
