We enjoyed a busy week last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, with two birthday cakes and another request for Parkin from our Chef!
Monday saw Joyce helping Katja to mix a Parkin mixture and they spoke about how it reminds them of winter and Christmas, as it is a ginger cake and smelt so good!
On Tuesday Joyce and Margaret helped to decorate Ivy’s birthday cake, which was a peaches and cream delight! Yum!
Pauline helped Katja midweek to make lemon slices out of ready to roll icing, which they dyed different shades of yellow.
Moira’s celebrated her birthday on Thursday 17 September and loved her special cake we’d made for her, decorated with lovely lemon icing and the lemon decorations Pauline had helped with – it looked amazing!
To finish off the week, Vi enjoyed decorating some cupcakes with melted chocolate and sprinkles. What better way to round off a Friday?!
