We enjoyed a ‘Bake off morning’ at Lulworth House Residential Care Home last week, as our residents came together to make a selection of sweet treats, including biscuits, cakes, an impressive flan with cherry decorations and some chocolate cornflakes cakes.
Having mixed all the ingredients and cooked those which needed baking, we displayed them beautifully on cake stands to enjoy outside at our garden tea party afternoon.
What a beautiful afternoon in the garden it was too – a wonderful time together socialising and savouring the fruits of our labour!
On Thursday morning we held a painting session where we made some decorations ready for our upcoming New York party, Hollywood style! We also tried our new hair styles, which was great fun. We are all looking forward to some Hollywood glam!
