On Thursday 9 January, residents at Lulworth House were visited by a group of lovely animals from Amazing Animal Encounters.
Residents were captivated by a spectrum of creatures including a tortoise, a chicken, a sheep, a skunk and a bunny rabbit.
Our ladies and gents had the chance to stroke and spend time with the animals, finding it very calm and therapeutic.
The staff member from Amazing Animal Encounters gave us the interesting life history of each animal, telling us funny stories along the way. The animals were all so well behaved, making the session very relaxing and calm.
Many residents loved engaging with our new found friends and we’re looking forward to seeing them again soon.
