Our residents have made some delicious treats recently for everyone to enjoy at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
Lemon muffins were on the menu and we had great fun using the hand mixer with Joyce; Janet did all of the hand mixing first which made our job easier! They turned our beautifully and we were impressed at how light and fluffy they looked.
Chocolate brownies with marshmallows were next and it was nice to get Betty involved in the baking activities. Rosemary buttered the tin for us as she said mixing is ‘too much like hard work’! Our finished brownies were amazing and a tasty treat for everybody
We also made some Rice Krispie cakes with mini marshmallows and glacier cherries! Edna helped to hold the bowl and gave it a little mix while Katja added the ingredients to the melted chocolate.
A trio of treats, thoroughly approved of by all!
