Last week, our ladies from Lulworth House Residential Care Home House went out to play some bingo together at a local Bingo Hall. They enjoyed their games and had a very tasty fish and chip lunch!
During the rainy weather, we’ve kept ourselves busy with baking and doing jigsaw puzzles, and also hosted a piano singing session with Irmina, which our ladies and gents thoroughly enjoyed.
On Friday some our ladies went to our sister home, Lukestone, for a wonderful 1940s party.
We’ve also been celebrating, as our lovely resident Anne had her birthday last week. She was thrilled with her gorgeous birthday cake.
At the weekend we held our history club, which featured St David’s Day. To celebrate, we went shopping for ingredients to made leek and potatoes soup; our residents did a great job preparing the vegetables for it.
And no St Davids Day is complete without some daffodils, so we made sure we bought some bunches on our shopping trip!
