On Wednesday 30 November here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, we got into the festive spirit by inviting our lovely residents and families to dress our Christmas trees.
The event was such a success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed helping to put decorations up; lights, garlands, bunting and much more! The atmosphere was warmed up by traditional carols and hot chocolate and mince pies.
On Friday we hosted a fantastic ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ pantomime at our Home.
It was a joyful occasion that our residents shared with some family members who joined the fun. With our Christmas decorations in the background and carol singing too, it was a wonderful beginning to this magical month.
‘For a moment we felt like children again’, some of our residents said. How perfect.
