Our Christmas week began in the most heart-warming way here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, with a special gift delivery from our local Dunelm store. Through their wonderful Giving Tree initiative, local people generously donated presents for groups in our community. Our residents were absolutely delighted to receive such thoughtful gifts.
Throughout Christmas, our Home was filled with happiness and festive cheer. Our residents enjoyed singing carols, unwrapping gifts on Christmas Day, and tucking into a delicious traditional Christmas dinner of roast beef or turkey with all the trimmings.
To round off the celebrations, the weekend brought a much-loved cheese and wine tasting afternoon. Everyone sampled a delicious selection of cheeses including cheddar, Stilton, Wensleydale with cranberries, and creamy brie, paired with a choice of white, rosé and red wines. It was a truly enjoyable afternoon which went down a treat!
