Dignity Month
Our Dignity Champion at Lulworth House Residential Care Home has made and designed her own t-shirt at home to wear at work, to promote dignity during Dignity Month.
She has the ‘six Cs’ displayed on the back of her t-shirt, which are the important values we share across all our Nellsar Homes: Care, Companion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment, each playing a vital role in providing the highest standard of care for our residents.
She is doing a fantastic job at raising awareness and reminding everyone of what to look out for to maintain dignity in their practice at all times.
Mini golf
Last week at Lulworth House we held a mini golf tournament between our residents; some got on their feet to take their putts, while others got involved just as much from the comfort of their armchairs.
Putting seemed to bring back memories for some individuals of playing golf in their younger years, and they really got into the spirit of the game.
There was even some competition with their scores, but it was all in good fun!
