Folk party
On Thursday 14 October we hosted a country/folk music party at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, with special guest singer Jasmine.
Our residents entered into the spirit of the theme by wearing cowboy hats, as well as singing, dancing and playing musical instruments including tambourines and maracas.
We all enjoyed the music and party spirit, with some residents enjoying a glass of wine after Jasmine’s performance.
Pumpkin printing
Last week a group of our residents engaged in some arts and crafts, making decorations for Halloween together, with our newest Activity Coordinator Michela who assisted those who needed support.
They used an apple cut in half to print on paper to resemble a pumpkin and everyone enjoyed painting with colours of their choice, whilst some of our residents were prompted to use their paint brushes to draw decorations from their own imaginations.
