To celebrate Nutrition and Hydration Week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home last week, we created a fantastic jungle-themed trolley for our residents to enjoy, using different fruits, vegetables and decorations.
Tarnya from our Recreation and Well-Being Team made a wonderful cheeky monkey out of melons, pineapple, kiwi and bananas, which made such an eye-catching centrepiece. We also made a lion’s head from humous, cucumber and peppers, with additional grapes and pineapple to tickle the tastebuds in a healthy and hydrating way!
Our residents were amazed by Tarnya’s monkey. She did such an amazing job and it was great seeing our ladies and gents smile when they saw it.
