Last week Katja had fun with our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home playing ‘Guess the fruit’.
Residents took turns to close their eyes and try to guess which fruit they had in their hands – from melons to lemons, there were all sorts of shapes and sizes. Harder than you think!
Our winner was Hazel guessing seven out of the eight fruits, with Dot coming second guessing five correctly. Our ladies enjoyed eating the fruit after the game too!
We also decorated a birthday cake for Jane, which we decorated with buttercream icing and edible flowers.
Scone making was also on the agenda! We got stuck in mixing the ingredients and our residents thoroughly enjoyed eating them with jam when they were ready. Not much beats homemade scones – delicious!
