We were delighted to see our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja get married last month to her partner, Kane.
The couple actually met at Lulworth House some nine years ago, when they were both working as Carers at our Home. A true Lulworth House love story!
They tied the knot on Saturday 22 January at Rochester’s Registry Office, accompanied by Katja’s beautiful girls Edith (9) and Astrid (3).
Famed at Lulworth for her amazing bakes and cakes, Katja made her own wedding cake – a simple Victoria sponge with strawberry jam (Kane’s favourite!). She made the flowers and button decorations from icing, to match the bouquets she and her girls carried.
