Earth Day this year fell on Tuesday 22 April and our residents and team members at Lulworth House Residential Care Home were keen to come up with ideas on how we can help preserve the planet and promote environmental protection.
They came up with some very good ideas including:
‘Reduce plastic waste’
‘Stop littering!’
‘Save the bees!’
‘Keep our beaches clean and dispose of rubbish’
‘Plant more trees and flowers’
‘Recycle more’
To create a visual centrepiece for our celebrations, we wrote these fantastic suggestions on cut-outs of hands, to symbolise what our hands can do to help.
We combined them into an eye-catching and thought-provoking display for our hall – well done everyone!
