We had so much fun last week baking a magnificent rainbow cake and (of course!) eating it during our Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraising event here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, with people all over the UK hosting their own coffee mornings and donating to Macmillan.
Our ladies and staff teamed up to create an amazing rainbow cake for the event, covered in frosting and flowers, with a hidden stash of M&Ms inside! It made an amazing centrepiece to our fantastic table of cakes and biscuits.
We were delighted to be part of the nationwide coffee morning and would like to thank everyone who made or donated sweet treats, and all those who gave generously to our fundraising pot.
