World Menopause Day
Lulworth House Residential Care Home acknowledged World Menopause Day on Wednesday 18 October with pink treats for residents and team members, and a unique way of sharing a bit of happiness among colleagues with a “Positivity Jar”.
World Menopause Day has opened our eyes to the many symptoms that women face when going through this stage of their life. So, we asked our residents to create our very own Lulworth House Positivity Jar, filled with lots of positive messages for our team members.
Our ladies and gentlemen wrote the loveliest notes that made us all giggle including one that said: “I wouldn’t want their job” or “Have a lovely holiday in the summertime”. Abby dressed up as a giant heart and everyone left with a smile on their face after our Positivity Jar had made the rounds!
