Our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home recently enjoyed a fantastic day out at Howletts Zoo, and what a memorable trip it was! The sun was shining, spirits were high, and there were smiles all around as we set off for our animal adventure.
From the moment we arrived, our residents were full of excitement. They loved seeing the incredible variety of animals, including majestic tigers, powerful lions, and playful rhinos. A real highlight of the day was watching the elephants, which were a firm favourite among many of our residents.
As we strolled through the zoo, there was a wonderful sense of joy and curiosity. The trip sparked plenty of conversations and laughter as we admired everything from the smallest creatures to the most impressive big cats.
It was a truly special outing that brought so much happiness and well-being to our residents. We returned home tired but delighted, already chatting about which animals we would love to see again next time.
