Yesterday, we enjoyed an afternoon tea from Boyce’s Bakery in Allington here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We chose a selection of fruit scones, iced buns and cheese straws to indulge in. Of course, we had jam and cream and started the infamous debate of which goes first, the cream or the jam! Our residents played a game of ‘tea pot’ bingo and there were a selection of prizes on offer.
Springtime vibes were in abundance too, as we’d made sure we did flower arranging the day before so we had some beautiful floral displays on our tables.
It was a really lovely way to spend the afternoon together here at Lulworth House.
