Our residents have been enjoying playing ‘Play Your Cards Right’ here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, which has been so much fun!
We also held our June quiz, which always gets our braincells going! Our ladies and gents have loved spending time in our garden, with ice-creams in the afternoons of course!
And we’ve been delighted to welcome in a puppy belonging to one of our staff members. Our residents loved all the cuddles they got as the pup sat on their laps; it really brightened their day which was wonderful to see. Our Guinea pig also came to say hello in our lounge and sat contentedly munching on carrots from our garden.
Krissy hosted a delicious continental breakfast; she served crumpets, croissants, fruit and a host of other goodies for our ladies and gents to tuck into. It went down very well with everyone.
On Saturday our ladies did a spot of cake baking and decorating together and later we hosted a cinema afternoon, when our residents watched ‘South Pacific‘ with snacks and drinks.
