Puppy love
On Tuesday 21 October, we had the pleasure of welcoming two beautiful Schnauzer puppies to Lulworth House Residential Care Home. The adorable pups came from a company that breeds and trains Schnauzers, who kindly got in touch to arrange the visit.
Our residents couldn’t believe how big they were at only 14 weeks old! Full of energy and affection, the puppies quickly won everyone’s hearts with their playful personalities and gentle cuddles. The room was filled with smiles – it was truly a heart-warming experience for everyone.
Chocolate snowballs
On Thursday, our residents spent a lovely morning making delicious homemade chocolate snowballs together. They started by crushing biscuits with a rolling pin before mixing them with condensed milk and chocolate powder. The tasty mixture was then wrapped around a soft marshmallow, dipped in melted chocolate, and rolled in coconut for that perfect finishing touch.
Once chilled in the fridge, our chocolate snowballs were enjoyed in the evening – with a big thumbs up from everyone!
