On Friday 4 June we took a morning trip out with a group of our Lulworth House Residential Care Home residents in our minibus.
We headed to Leysdown and enjoyed a sightseeing ride to take in the lovely views. Everyone was given a fact sheet on departure and Krissy was our tour guide, telling us to look to the left or right.
Our residents spoke about which beach was their favourite and where they used to go as children.
And what trip would be complete without an ice cream with a flake and a view of the sea!? We took the opportunity for a beach selfie!
Hannah from our Recreation and Well-Being team commented; “It was my first outing with the gang and we were all very excited!”
