A group of our residents from Lulworth House Residential Care Home visited a local farm on Tuesday 28 January – the Rare Breeds Centre in Ashford, set in 100 acres of stunning grounds.
They enjoyed looking around the working of the farm and meeting the animals, including chickens, cows and rabbits, which sparked lots of interest and conversation. The farm also boasts creepy crawlies and birds of prey, so it makes a great day out.
We were lucky with the weather, as it was a lovely sunny day for our farm exploration, and we enjoyed tea and cake in the cafe after looking around.
A super trip and a day to remember!
