Baking Club
We made delicious cheese rounds during our latest Baking Club at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, which take a lot of oomph to mix!
Our residents also had a tasting session with some chocolate biscuit bars where they rated them; Top spot was a draw between the Mars bar and the honeycomb KitKat.
Katja, Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator, said “I am not surprised by this. They took the tasting session really seriously and Jean and Marie even had to have second tastes of the Mars and KitKat to be 100% sure which order to place them! I have a sneaky feeling they were being cheeky though!”

One to one
One of our ladies, Joyce, didn’t make it to Baking Club this time because she has been feeling a little under the weather. But she really enjoyed sitting with Katja, having some quality time with and sharing some treats together.
