We love baking at Lulworth House Residential Care Home and our Baking Club was busy last week, making tasty treats!
On Tuesday our residents made some lovely lemon muffins from scratch, mixing the ingredients and preparing them for the oven. On Wednesday we decorated them with very lemony icing.
They were delicious! Anne gave her seal of approval for the lemon icing after licking her fingers when she had finished decorating all the muffins!
Thursday and Friday saw us making and decorating simple biscuits together. Margaret did really well making the biscuit dough, which she rolled to the perfect biscuit thickness.
We iced the biscuits, ready to be enjoyed. They didn’t last long!
