British Pie Week
In aid of British Pie Week (3-9 March), our team at Lulworth House Residential Care Home brought a mini pie maker and have been making cheese and onion pies; they were a massive hit and everyone said they were really yummy!
Our lovely resident Maggie helped to chop up the onions and she did a great job. As you can see, she was super proud of our creation!
Veggie prepping
On Monday 10 March, our resident Rosemary at Lulworth House helped our Nutrition and Hydration Lead Katja to prepare vegetables for lunch. She is a real whiz with the peeler and we had a good chat about the size of the carrots.
Rosemary was impressed with the size of the carrots – we get from our local greengrocer – and she suggested we should try planting some in our garden to see if our soil is as good as theirs!
