We welcomed a group of local nursery children to Lulworth House Residential Care Home this week, which our residents always enjoy.
We used a range of sensory objects for our residents to use to connect with the youngsters including a large soft toy, multicoloured fibres, decorations and stationery accessories which were colourful, tactile and fun! They were put to good used in a rhyming game which they all really enjoyed.
To keep us all fit, we also played table tennis and ‘volley balloon’ which are both always a winner with both residents and children.
A really fun session and we look forward to hosting the children again soon.
