We’ve been busy with our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, making cut out pastel flower decorations for Mother’s Day. They look so cheerful hung from the ceiling in our lounge, they really do bring a smile to your face.
We always love to pamper our ladies, so we’ve had lots of manicure and hairdressing sessions, to make them feel extra special for Mother’s Day.
In these restricted times, we’ve been keeping our residents’ spirits up by reading out letters from local primary school children which have been sent to us. They have really cheered us up with their funny stories. It’s been such a delight to do and a wonderful way to stay connected to our community. We’ve also had a few Skype video calls and it’s great to use technology to keep in touch with loved ones.
And what better way to round of the week than a sing song and a few drinks on Friday afternoon. Perfect!
