We’ve been enjoying lots of lovely drinks in this hot weather here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We made some of our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja’s famous iced coffees again, which went down a treat with everyone, especially Barbara (who often requests one in the hot weather!).
A massive round of milkshakes was also the order of the day – made with some luxury Monin syrups, with blended ice and milk which turned out really well!
Our residents came together for a spot of flower arranging in the cooler part of the day, when it wasn’t so hot in the garden. We sat in the shade and made sure to wear sun cream, as we put together vases of the colourful blooms for our Home.
Katja also made Sue’s magnificent blue birthday cake (her favourite colour), to be enjoyed on her special day.
