On Thursday 6 November, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home were treated to a special afternoon of music and memories as we welcomed the wonderful D-Day Dollies for a Remembrance Day performance.
The talented duo brought smiles all around as they performed nostalgic wartime favourites, including The White Cliffs of Dover and We’ll Meet Again. Our residents were soon joining in and singing along, with many recalling fond memories of hearing these timeless songs during their younger years.
After the show, our residents had the lovely opportunity to chat with the Dollies and pose for photos – a perfect way to capture the joy and togetherness of the day. It was a beautiful and heartwarming afternoon that celebrated remembrance and community spirit in our Home.
