Our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja has been experimenting with some resin art at home and kindly brought some in for us at Lulworth House Residential Care Home to celebrate Nutrition and Hydration Week last week.
She made some tiny fruit jewellery, pin badges and fruit words with UV resin; we are ordering a coloured frame for the brilliant ‘fruit‘ and ‘hydration‘ words so they can be displayed all the time.
Katja made herself, our Home Manager Catherine and Nutrition and Wellness Manager Leni a set of earrings and a necklace and wore fruit studs all week, and dangly earrings specially for fruity Friday! She also made a selection of pin badges, so our staff have been wearing their fruity pins on their uniforms!
She’s also made pin badges for all the Nutrition Leads in all the other Nellsar Homes.
