The start of our Nellsar mini cruise saw us heading to Thailand here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, and our trip began with painting lovely elephants. We’re so impressed with our residents’ fantastic pictures!
After our art session our ladies and gents enjoyed a Thai taster trolley with lots of goodies from a Thai supermarket. The shop assistant recommended a range of snacks from chicken peanuts, fish strips, seaweed, dried mango, and even white rabbit sweets!
The white rabbit sweets went down a treat, although the fish strips and seaweed made a few residents pull some very funny faces!
Alongside the trolley, we ran a Thai-themed quiz and a fact file too. We love our virtual travels and discovering interesting things about different countries.
