Sweet treats
Our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home had a great time making tempting Rice Krispie cakes last week, mixing the cereal with melted chocolate and adding marshmallows and sprinkles for extra good measure, before spooning the mixture into cupcake cases.
They got the thumbs up for everyone!
Cheese and wine
We also hosted a relaxing cheese and wine afternoon at our Home, where our ladies and gents could indulge in a variety of delicious cheeses including French Brie, Cheddar, Blue Stilton, Wensleydale with Cranberry, and Red Leicester accompanied by crackers, fresh fruit and a nice glass of wine or hot drink.
This is such a popular activity with our residents – a wonderful way to spend time together socialising over scrumptious savoury treats.
