At the end of last week, we were all busy with party preparations for our resident Betty’s big 100th birthday party here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We made decorations and cupcakes…. and practiced our dance moves of course!
On Friday morning, our ladies relaxed with puzzles and word searches and also a wonderful Namaste session with massage, which was the perfect was to enjoy the end of the week.

On Saturday 16 May we celebrated Betty turning 100 and had a wonderful time enjoying the tennis-themed party we’d prepared. Betty used to like playing tennis and really enjoys watching it too, so we were excited to bring Wimbledon to Lulworth for her!
We had amazing tennis court, racket and ball shaped birthday cakes, cupcakes, fresh strawberries and Pimm’s to drink.
Our residents played table tennis and ball aiming games, which went down so well with everyone.
A lovely day of celebration and treats – many happy returns of the day Betty!
