Last week, our Lulworth House Residential Care Home residents were busy celebrating International Nurses Day, as well as getting ready to arrive in Italy on their Nellsar Cruise.
International Nurses Day
To celebrate this special day, our residents took part in some flower arranging and also had a refresher First Aid course.
Everyone felt very confident with how to dress bandages and what type of medication they should take if they were suffering from a headache, for example.
Residents said a very big ‘thank you’ to Nurses and Care staff all around the world.
Italian Day
We all enjoyed our Italian Day and our residents made their own pizzas, with different delicious toppings – they looked ‘bellissimo’!
They ate their creations during our cinema evening, whilst watching a classic movie – Bugsy Malone.
