At Lulworth House Residential Care Home this week we’ve been participating in a lovely ‘These Hands’ activity with our ladies and gents.
We’ve taken photos of our resident’s hands and asked them what they have done in their lives using their hands – combining their photos and words into beautiful printed pictures which we have put up together on our wall in decorative frames. They make such a heartwarming display.
It was such a wonderful reminiscence activity which got everyone talking about the important events in their lives so far; lots of our residents spoke about their children, their time in the war, and jobs they’d had.
We are delighted with how this creative project has turned out!
