On Thursday 6 May we were all very excited to celebrate VE Day in our garden at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
Our residents helped to prepare VE Day decorations as well as flower arrangements. We had Union Jack bunting, pretty table settings and balloon and poppy decorations.
We started with a war time singalong and entertainment from singer Debbie Haze, who sang our favourite wartime tunes.
We finished with with lots of dancing and a wonderful afternoon tea prepared by one of our lovely Carers.
