As you can see, pink was the colour of the day last Friday here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home!
Many of our residents, staff, family and friends wore pink for the day to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Now.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and ‘wear it pink‘ events all over the country bring together thousands of people on one day, all with the same aim – to wear pink, raise money and help make life-saving breast cancer research happen.
At Lulworth, everything was pink, even the cakes! We welcomed local nursery children in to join the fun and held a raffle and ‘best dressed’ competition.
We were delighted to raise £30 which we will donate to the charity. Huge thanks to everyone who donated.
