Welsh cake creations at Lulworth House Residential Care Home

On Friday 4 March we enjoyed a fun session making Welsh cakes for St Davids Day here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.

Welsh cakes (also known as bakestones or pics) are a traditional sweet bread in Wales containing dried fruit, baked on a griddle. We were delighted with how ours turns out – very tasty!

We also spent time icing some cupcakes and enjoyed some had pancakes.

We love our sweet treats here at Lulworth House!
