On Sunday 23 May our residents celebrated World Turtle Day by joining in with a morning discussion about turtles here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
World Turtle Day is celebrated every year on 23 May, with the purpose of increasing attention and knowledge about turtles and tortoises, and raising awareness about helping them survive and thrive in their natural environment, without any human interruptions.
In tribute to these fascinating creatures, we held an art session and had fun painting turtle pictures together. Our ladies and gents felt proud of their creations; as Philip said “I like my colourful turtle!”
