Cupcake colouring and festive flowers
To celebrate National Cupcake Day on Saturday 5 November, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home used their creative skills to paint pictures of cupcakes.
Some used their imagination to create colourful pictures, whilst others followed a colour scheme and painted by numbers, after mixing paint together to create the desired shades.
We also got creative and made a festive arrangement; lead by May who used to be a florist, we put together a merry vase display using fresh pine branches and a poinsettia flower.
Tasty treats
This week, feeling in the festive spirit, we made chocolate bark with gingerbread men and marshmallow ‘snow’ and also decorated a special birthday cake for Maria, who loved it.
We also made Christmas cupcakes for our families who came in to help decorate our Home ready for Christmas. There were so many types of Christmas sprinkles in our stock we couldn’t decide which to use!
Let the Christmas spirit begin!Â
