Nursery visit
This week we had a lovely visit from our local Rainbow Nursery when we welcomed 14 children in to do some Easter colouring with our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We played nursery rhymes and our residents enjoyed singing along to the beloved songs they used to listen to as children. It was great to see everyone engaging and especially our ladies and gents lending a helping hand if they saw children struggling to choose a colour.
We also had a surprise visit from the Easter bunny who gave out some delicious chocolates to all of the children. Great fun!
Lunch club
We also launched our weekly Lunch Club this week where we set up a table in our lounge and have our own lunch with residents. This is to create a fun dining experience for our ladies and gents who don’t tend to venture into the dining room and prefer a more relaxed environment.
Our residents said they very much enjoyed having someone to chat to whilst having their lunch.
