Nellsar Cruise to France
Last week, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home enjoyed an armchair adventure to France as part of our Nellsar Cruise experience. We displayed some traditional French pastries to sample, giving everyone a true taste of French culture.
Alongside the treats, a fact file filled with interesting information about France was shared, sparking conversation and memories of past holidays. The session concluded with a light-hearted quiz to test everyone’s knowledge – a fun and engaging way to round off our virtual voyage.
Creative painting
We have also been getting creative with rose painting, a colourful and uplifting activity as we look forward to the arrival of spring. Our ladies produced lovely floral artwork to brighten our walls and lift spirits during the colder months.
Valentine’s Day
Our heartwarming week at Lulworth culminated in a special Valentine’s Day lunch for our couples and their families at the weekend. Our guests were warmly welcomed into our Home to enjoy a relaxed and elegant afternoon together.
We were delighted to welcome Carys the harpist, whose beautiful performance created a romantic atmosphere. Our residents and their loved ones sat back, gently bobbing their heads along to the music and enjoying precious time together. It was a truly special occasion, filled with love.
