Hollywood Bowl
A small group of our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home enjoyed a few games of bowling on Friday 8 March – congratulations to our lucky winner Pauline, who scored a massive 110 points! We also had great fun playing Pac-Man Basket in the games arcade, before grabbing lunch to McDonald’s. What a fun day we had!
A trip to church
Our residents received a lovely welcome and service at our local church last week. A light hearted social gathering, the congregation took a keen interest in all of us and made us feel very welcome. We talked about past teaching experiences, and some funny stories – at age 100 you’re never too old to network!
Indian crafts
Our residents recently enjoyed an India Day focused arts and crafts session, using strips of sparkly beads to decorate individual trinket jars. Our ladies and gents loved the activity, and what a great way to work on our hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
