Party vibes
On Saturday 17 December we celebrated our Christmas Party here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
We welcomed entertainer Peter Kneebone who joined us to get the singing and dancing started with his lively music – looking very festive in his Christmas jumper!
Our residents dressed in their best Christmas party wear and danced all afternoon. We were delighted that many relatives and friends came to join in the fun too.
We held a raffle, with lots festive prizes and were very pleased to raise over £70 for our Residents’ Fund.
We even had a visit from Santa, who delivered goodies to all our ladies and gents. Our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja brought her young daughter Astrid in to meet Santa too – and she was all smiles meeting the main man himself!
Once the singing and dancing was over, we all enjoyed a huge Christmas buffet and everyone tucked into some delicious festive nibbles.
What a brilliant party, with such a fantastic atmosphere.

Baking Club
As part of the festivities, our residents had fun with Katja at Baking Club making shortbread trees and luxurious chocolate yule logs which were admired and enjoyed by all!
