Last week at Lulworth House Residential Care Home we made some lovely coffee cupcakes with vanilla latte icing and left over Easter eggs as decoration – our simply ‘Egg-cellent Mochaccino Cupcakes’!
Our ladies loved mixing the ingredients and putting the cake cases in the tins; the sunshine was streaming through the lounge window giving a real springtime feeling.
Chef Mam made us homemade blackcurrant ice cream this week which was delicious. We also enjoyed some wonderful pastries with fresh whipped cream and fruits. Then we used some more left over eggs and made some desserts.
On Friday 9 April, Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja held a one-to-one session with one of our ladies who’s been a little off her food recently. She arranged a table of a few nibbles for her to try to see if they stimulated her tastebuds.
