Over the weekend, our residents and their families came together for a fantastic beach-themed summer party here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home – and what a brilliant day it was! To set the scene, we transformed our garden into a seaside escape, complete with colourful balloons, bunting, a beach backdrop, paddling pool, and even our very own sandy beach – watch out for sharks!
The festivities kicked off with a delicious BBQ lunch, paired with a tipple of beer or wine, or a refreshing soft drink for those who preferred. The warm weather, relaxed atmosphere and great company made it a perfect afternoon to enjoy together.
We were treated to fantastic live entertainment from Kevin Walsh, whose performance, as always, was a big hit with everyone. And of course, no beach day would be complete without a sweet treat – ice creams and sweets were enjoyed by all to round off the celebrations.
It was a joyful day filled with music, laughter and special moments shared between our residents, their loved ones, and our dedicated team.
