We jetted off to Mexico on Thursday 18 January here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home, on our Nellsar virtual mini cruise!
Our residents enjoyed making their own guacamole, tasting mint mocktails and enjoying a delicious Mexican lunch of tacos and enchiladas.
Finally, we made a tempting ‘Tres Leches cake’ – a sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk: evaporated, condensed and whole milk, popular throughout Latin America. This went down a treat!
Our residents had such a fun time immersing themselves in the Mexican culture and enjoying some different tastes and flavours.
A very foodie-filled afternoon!
