Cheese rounds
Dot really enjoyed helping our Nourishment and Social Wellness Coordinator Katja to make cheese rounds recently here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
When they were served at tea time, she loved proudly telling everyone that she helped to make them. Delicious!
Cinnamon swirls
Marion enjoyed spreading the cinnamon and honey mix onto puff pastry, to make some tempting cinnamon and honey swirls, which were part of our nod to Winnie the Pooh, who we are very fond of!
Sweet treats
Terry enjoyed assisting with some coffee cupcakes with Katja. His family came to visit whilst he was busy and they loved seeing him take part in something as he often prefers to watch others.
Meanwhile, Diana enjoyed mixing the chocolate, digestive biscuits, cornflakes, mini marshmallows and glacé cherries for some delicious cornflake cakes.
She particularly enjoyed using the spare digestives to clean the bowls we used to melt the chocolate for a sneaky snack after we had finished scooping it into cake cases!

Vera enjoyed helping Katja to set the dining room for lunch last week, assisting with laying all the table cloths straight and folding the napkins. Maureen is also a pro a folding the napkins. Thank you ladies!
