On Friday 17 September, our residents at Lulworth House Residential Care Home continued to celebrate Philip’s 100th birthday, as his son Chris and daughter-in-law Jackie arranged for everybody at our Home to have an afternoon with ‘Punch and Judy’!
Such a treat! Our ladies and gents gathered in our lounge for a fantastic Punch and Judy performance including magic, juggling and balloon sculpting! Everyone enjoyed receiving balloons shaped as different animals, flowers and hearts.
Our Kitchen Assistant Saniwarn prepared delicious buffet food for the party which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and we also received some donated party food from our local Morrisons, which was a very kind gesture.
As well as Philip’s special birthday, we also had Moira’s 91st birthday to celebrate. Our residents sang her ‘Happy birthday‘ and she very much enjoyed opening lots of lovely cards and presents from her family.
