We had a visit from River’s Rodents and Reptiles on Wednesday 1 May here at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.
River brought in lots of different animals including a tortoise, blue tongued reptile, Guinea pig, a rat and a snake.
We have a big tortoise-lover here at Lulworth House, and she has collected over 100 tortoise statues, so she was thrilled to see one up close!
Everyone learnt so many interesting facts, including how tortoises can feel through their shells and that snakes sense things through their sense of smell.
